10 Foot Trampoline
Naturally when you buy a trampoline you want to
pick the right size. For many people a 10 foot
trampoline is just perfect.
The typical standard trampoline is 14 feet in
diameter, but this can be problematic if, for example, you have
a small yard. Let's face it, trampolines are becoming more
popular, and not everyone has the space for a larger size.
If you are just starting your search, at this
point you may not know exactly what you want. Check the
newspapers and see if any are for sale. People selling used
trampolines are often just looking to get rid of it, and really
don't care about how much money they get for it.
But if the price is low keep a few things in
mind. The value of any used trampoline is very much dependant
on the amount of use and damage it has. Just remember to check
it over carefully, the last thing you want is a trampoline that
is damaged. Although they are fun and good exercise, they can
also be dangerous. Be sure to check out our trampoline safety
tips and get the necessary trampoline accessories to make sure
it is safe.
If you know you want a 10-footer, you may have
a harder time finding a used one for sale. You'll probably have
to go through a specialty store online or locally to find
exactly what you want. You'll have an easier time finding a 10
foot rebounder that is in good condition. These are usually for
sale used simply because the family wants to upgrade to a 14
foot model.
A 10 foot trampoline is great for kids and
great for backyards. But remember we always recommend getting a
trampoline enclosure, and much like a 10 foot trampoline, a 10
foot enclousre can also be hard to find.
If you are looking to shop for a trampoline for
use as a gymnastic trampoline you almost certainly will not
want a 10 foot model. Think about obtaining an actual
rectangular gymnastics trampoline or a bigger fourteen-foot
spherical trampoline.
A ten-foot size trampoline is nice for smaller
kids if you are ready to spend the time needed finding an
enclosure system that will work with it. But it's important to
remember that your youngsters can grow up and you'll need to
upgrade to a larger trampoline as they grow.
Though, individuals of all sizes can use a
ten-foot model, it is suggested that only one-person jump on it
at a time. You should always follow the safety instructions of
your trampoline to help forestall injuries and keep your family
safe.
Consider the ages and sizes of your kids before
buying a ten-foot model of a trampoline. Most 14 foot
trampolines don't seem to be that much more expensive and will
offer additional space for your kids to grow into it. But if
you've got a little yard... the 10-foot style trampoline is the
proper one for you.
